Description
Education & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Fresh graduates encouraged (if junior role)
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, LCCI) an added advantage
Work Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or similar role (senior position)
- Experience in billing, invoicing, and collection preferred
Key Skills
- Basic accounting knowledge and understanding of AR processes
- Familiar with accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, QuickBooks, SAP)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, data entry)
- Good communication and negotiation skills (for collection follow-up)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines
Responsibilities
- Issue invoices, credit notes, and statements to customers
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Update records and maintain accurate AR ledger
- Liaise with sales team and customers on billing issues
- Prepare aging reports and monthly AR reports
- Assist in audit and month-end closing
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Good time management
