The

Head, Marketing

is accountable for leading and driving the country-level marketing strategy to accelerate customer acquisition, utilization, retention, and growth. This role provides strategic leadership across full-funnel marketing, CRM, communications, content, stakeholder activation, and market expansion, while supporting Gentari Go initiatives and pre-market readiness for new geographies.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Growth Leadership

- Set and deliver the country marketing strategy and budget to hit growth targets;

- Own planning, forecasting, resourcing, and ROI optimisation end-to-end;

- Drive full-funnel growth across acquisition, utilisation, retention, and revenue;

- Optimise Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) across paid, owned, earned, referral, and affiliate channels.

Partnerships, Commercials & Strategic Alliances

- Build partnerships that unlock new growth channels and strengthen market presence;

- Source, pitch, onboard, and manage strategic partners;

- Lead deal structuring and negotiation with strong commercial discipline;

- Partner with Business Development and Finance on models, proposals, and contract terms.

CRM & Lifecycle Marketing

- Own CRM strategy across email, push, in-app, and WhatsApp (where applicable);

- Build lifecycle journeys that lift conversion, engagement, retention, and CLV;

- Set measurement, reporting, and optimisation to continuously improve performance.

Data, Insights & Performance

- Turn marketing and customer data into insights that shape strategy and priorities;

- Track and optimise campaign/channel performance with clear KPIs and test-and-learn;

- Translate insights into actions that improve efficiency and business outcomes.

Content, Communications & Brand

- Own the country content and brand strategy across digital and offline channels;

- Deliver high-impact campaigns and communications that strengthen positioning and engagement;

- Protect brand consistency across PR, content, and all marketing touchpoints.

Events, Activations & Market Presence

- Lead the events and activations strategy aligned to brand and commercial goals;

- Deliver launches, partnership activations, and sponsorships with strong execution;

- Define success measures and report ROI and learnings.

Stakeholder & Market Enablement

- Influence senior stakeholders, partners, agencies, and regulators to unblock delivery;

- Work cross-functionally (Business Development, Operations, Product) to execute go-to-market priorities;

- Lead agencies and partners to deliver quality, compliant, on-brand work.

Market Expansion & Readiness

- Lead go-to-market plans and launch readiness for new markets, products, or services;

- Own local insights, positioning, and activation plans ahead of launch;

- Enable expansion via partner activation and agency leadership.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field;

- Minimum 10 years of progressive marketing experience, including leadership of country or market-level marketing;

- Strong track record in marketing strategy, growth, and CAC optimisation across multiple channels;

- Deep experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, and performance tracking;

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to convert data into strategic insights;

- Proven experience leading content, communications, PR, campaigns, and activations;

- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership capabilities;

- Experience supporting market entry, expansion, or regional growth initiatives
