* General Ledger & Month-End Closing: Prepare revenue and payroll vouchers, audit cost-related entries, and lead the month-end closing process. Generate monthly financial statements, cost analysis data and management reports.
* Inventory management & periodic stock counting, Inventory turnover.
* Accounts Payable & Reimbursement: Audit daily expense claims and procurement payments to ensure workflows and supporting documentation comply with corporate policies.
* Taxation: Oversee company tax matters and the preparation of local statutory filings.
* Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the local finance team.

* Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. A professional qualification recognized in Malaysia is mandatory, such as MIA, ACCA, or CIMA, with the authority to handle local tax and financial matters independently.
* Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of financial management experience in the manufacturing sector. Prior experience in team management is required; backgrounds in the technology or smart manufacturing industries are highly preferred.

* Licensing & Policy Expertise: Familiarity with Malaysian manufacturing license procedures (specifically ML applications). Experience with tax incentive applications (e.g., MIDA-related policies) is preferred.
* Greenfield Project Experience: Proven experience in new factory setups, production line commissioning, or full-cycle CAPEX management (from budgeting to final settlement) is highly preferred.
