Description
About the Role
- Develop Technical Services in Malaysia while simultaneously ensuring seamless integration between customer-focused technical support and the CGIC educational and inspirational mandate.
- Plays a pivotal role in driving technical excellence, customer experience, operational consistency and capability‑building across Malaysia.
- Support in promoting the Barry Callebaut brands locally, while contributing to its international reputation. The role focuses on delivering customer sessions, offering technical expertise, developing products, and providing training, with a special emphasis on strengthening the brand locally while contributing to global initiatives when needed.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Advise customers on optimal product range for their equipment, processes, and operating constraints.
- Provide technical support to new and existing customers; address application challenges for industrial and gourmet chocolate and coatings.
- Identify and develop new market opportunities via product trials, plant visits, and customer technical collaborations.
- Support project managers and cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Sales, CCA chefs, CI&TS global & regional teams).
- Conduct technical training sessions and product demonstrations across the region.
- Deliver internal capability building for CI&TS teams, ensuring alignment with global Technical Services standards.

About you:
- Travel requirements: 50% travel time estimated
- Strong communication skills required to communicate with customers and internal shareholders.

- Time management skill to contact and deliver possible efficient and alternative solutions to the customer timely.
