Job Summary The objective of digital marketing is to develop strong and innovative strategies to promote the business brand, products, and services. Responsible for maintaining the brand’s online presence and sales by working on various marketing campaigns, including researching, strategizing with other professionals, and creating content for successful campaigns for EQ. Develop, implement, track, and optimize brand digital marketing campaigns across all digital marketing channels, from concept to execution.

Work closely with the Sales & Marketing team, supporting teams (such as programmers), and vendors to launch campaigns on time and within budget, and effectively use all marketing tools and techniques such as PPC, SEO, SEM, email, social media, and various platforms.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies, including internet, mobile devices, social media, search engines, and other channels to reach consumers in line with the hotel’s overall online business goals.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor all online/digital advertising campaigns, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media (not limited to Facebook & Instagram ads), and display advertising campaigns for optimal results.
  • Manage search engine marketing campaigns to drive online exposure to the hotel website.
  • Monitor the hotel’s online presence in major search engines and work closely with the MarCom team and Head Office team to ensure optimal search results.
  • Monitor the hotel’s website traffic analytics through Google Analytics and other relevant tools to identify trends and opportunities to grow online business.
  • Ensure the hotel’s presence on all approved online distribution websites is up to date and aligned with hotel branding.
  • Ensure the hotel’s key communication messages are optimally distributed online for maximum exposure.
  • Manage and ensure the brand website is kept current and relevant to drive SEO/SEM.
  • Update website content through the Content Management System.
  • Update the hotel’s microsite content, including uploading and updating content, creating promotional items, and analyzing reports.
  • Keep abreast of current and future competitors’ digital marketing activities.
  • Manage social media and engagement on approved platforms in accordance with Head Office corporate policies and guidelines.
  • Write, edit, and publish high-quality content to reach specific audiences on websites and social media platforms.
  • Respond to feedback from social media, online guest portals, and daily general emails, and circulate information to relevant departments.
  • Key social media activities include, but are not limited to, planning and managing the social media calendar; creating organic and paid content such as images, reels, stories, and paid ads; copywriting; analyzing and reporting data through Google Analytics and Facebook Business Suite; replying to inquiries; and sourcing User Generated Content (UGCs).
  • Monitor and manage the hotel’s online brand sentiment using reputation monitoring tools to identify operational challenges affecting ratings.
  • Actively participate in regular revenue strategy meetings, F&B marketing meetings, and spa marketing meetings, and implement actions relevant to the strategies set.
  • Measure and report the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI & KPIs).

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
