Assistant QRC Analyst

Summary:

Conduct testing ,verify and validate quality of product produce in the Malaysia plant. This includes participate on cross departmental team (Production, Eng., etc.) in the plant with respect to complex QRC issues (e.g. regulatory changes, product recalls, etc.). Provides support to the manufacturing operations, and conducts audits of internal QA programs and related documentation for the Malaysia plant. This includes responsibility for verifying compliance to procedures pertaining to product safety/quality. This person must keep current in food safety, quality regulations, policy and issues; and provide guidance and support to project activities in the plant.

Summary of major duties:

Compliance:

• Verify production activities to meet quality/safety specifications and regulatory standards.Work with plant personnel to ensure that food processing equipment is properly cleaned and sanitized to meet GMP, Food Safety and allergen requirements. Validates quality processes by ensuring product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

• To control production processes and ensure its compliance with the laid down specifications.

• Assisting QRC Analyst in authorize for releasing in­process and outgoing products.

• To carry out testing on work processes and record all in-process checksheet work carried out set by Senior QRC members to achieve set objectives.

• Assist QRC Analyst to handle customers' complaints professionally. Ensure product complaints and product rejects are properly managed and responses are given intimely manner.

• Assist QRC Analyst to perform tasks requested on product/process improvement and forward it to the respective party for further action.

• To participate in 5S, Lean & EHS project/program as per required – simplification,

optimization & continuous improvement. To monitor and ensure housekeeping and EHS compliance in lab/workplace.

• To participate in any other projects/tasks undertaken by the Company from time to time.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• Degree ,Technical Certificate or Diploma in food Science or related field or equivalent related experience

• Minimum of 1 yr (Degree) or Min 3yrs (Diploma) in food manufacturing related experience. Chocolate/ Confectionary plant working environment will be an added advantage.

• Require to work rotate shift.

• Thorough understanding of food safety and food regulatory issues.

• Able to understand & communicate basic English-Medium level

• Ability to form strong and effective working relationships with manufacturing management, QA, and other technical disciplines.

• Basic knowledge of quality assurance and quality control principles.

• Basic knowledge of food plant sanitation, pest control and laboratory techniques.

• Ensure appropriate plant quality standards are being met relative to products produced in Hershey Malaysia
