Description
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing high-quality service to guests during banquets, events, and private functions. This role involves assisting in the setup, service, and breakdown of events while ensuring excellent guest experience and adherence to food and beverage service standards.
THE JOBSCOPE
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements, linens, cutlery, and glassware.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in buffet setups, ensuring all items are replenished and presented neatly.
- Provide attentive and courteous service to guests, responding promptly to requests.
- Coordinate with Banquet Captains, Event Managers, and kitchen staff for smooth operations.
- Clear tables and reset rooms efficiently after events.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.
- Assist with inventory checks and proper handling of banquet equipment.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior at all times.
- Support team members during peak periods or large events.
REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience in banquet, events, or F&B service are preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
