The Opportunity

A Level E academic is expected to exercise a special responsibility in providing leadership and in fostering excellence in research, teaching, professional activities and policy development in the academic discipline within the school or other comparable organisational unit, within the university and within the community, both scholarly and general.

The professor will be expected to lead the Department of Psychology. The appointee will also be expected to foster excellence in research, teaching, professional activities and policy development within the Department of Psychology, and more generally, in the School, the School\'s clinical teaching sites, the University and the wider community.

Reporting line: The position reports to the Head of School, Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Department of Psychology and drive excellence in research, teaching, and policy development.
  • Foster excellence in research, teaching, professional activities and policy development within the Department of Psychology and the School.
  • Collaborate with clinical teaching sites, the University, and the wider community to advance scholarly and practical outcomes.
