Hotel Manager

Description

This role provides overall leadership for hotel operations, commercial performance, guest experience, and people leadership. We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader who can drive results, build strong teams, and uphold our brand standards.

Tasks and duties

1.

Drive Operational

Excellence for Guest Experience

• Oversee daily hotel operations across departments.
• Implement strategies to uphold and maintain hotel performance to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure execution of SOP and service standards.
• Oversee and manage daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping , maintenance and guest services.
• Coach the team and ensure proper room management, occupancy control and inventory tracking.
• Handling customer feedback and ensure prompt resolutions to complaints.
• Oversee market positioning initiatives, packages, and partnerships to strengthen demand.

2.

People

Leadership - Hiring and coaching staff

• Coach and build strong teams, improve staff engagement and maintain a good workplace culture.
• Provide staff training and guidance to maintain service quality.
• Manage staff scheduling, attendance, discipline and performance reviews.

3.

Commercial

Performance and Market Growth

• Suggesting and implementing marketing and promotion strategies.
• Oversee market positioning initiatives, packages, and partnerships to strengthen demand.
• Monitoring and handling hotel’s financial records, and allocating funds.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in hotel operations
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Business or any related field.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing hotel performance and financial results.
• Proficiency with hotel management systems and reporting tools.
• Willing to be based in Genting Highlands.
