Position : Programmer Analyst

Status : Contract 12 months under PERSOL Workforce Solutions Malaysia Sdn Bhd & will be converted to Permanent upon client decision subject to client’s approval.

Location : Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Background : Data Storage Manufacturer.

Working Days : Monday - Friday

Working Hours : 9 am – 5 pm

Start Date : 1st June tentatively

Salary : up to RM6k

OT : not applicable

Cut Off and Pay Out : cut off end of the month, payout every 7th

Entitlements : EPF, SOCSO, Annual Leave and others leave entitlement based on Employment Act.

Requirement:-Prefer bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology.

-minimum 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in application development, systems support, or software analysis.

-Diploma-qualified candidates with good experience in manufacturing digitalization/automation software development can be considered.

-Strong experience in .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET for enterprise application development.

-Proficiency in C# as the primary development language.

-Solid knowledge of SQL Server, including T‑SQL, stored procedures, and database design.

-Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front‑end integration and basic UI enhancements.

-Hands‑on experience with Visual Studio and/or Visual Studio Code for development and debugging.

-Experience using Entity Framework or similar ORM tools for data access and management.

-Understanding of RESTful APIs / Web Services for system integration.

-Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

-Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance internal manufacturing web applications using .NET technologies, including C# and ASP.NET, with SQL Server as the backend database.

 Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve application issues to ensure high availability and stability of production‑critical systems such as material tracking and process monitoring applications.

 Design, write, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to support data collection, reporting, and overall application performance.

 Assist in database design, enhancement, and maintenance for centralized data repositories supporting manufacturing operations.

 Support the development of web‑based portals for data submission, including automated file parsing (e.g., Excel file uploads into centralized databases).

 Build and maintain user‑friendly web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

 Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, operations, and IT to understand system requirements and deliver reliable solutions.

 Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices aligned with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
