Retail Operations Executive

• Lead and monitor day to day retail operations of all stores by using retail compliance checklist.
• Working closely with the Head of Retail on matters relating to merchandise mix, inventory levels and day to day operations matter.
• Oversee all sales and operational aspects of the Retail Division for the brand.
• Coordinate retail activities with internal departments (i.e. Marketing, Admin & After Sales) to synergize the needs of all departments in achieving the brand’s objectives.
• Liaise with the Boutique Supervisors and Supply Chain & Merchandising team on merchandising requirements and provide them with relevant feedback for maximum selling opportunities.
• Assess and prioritize all store maintenance issues working with the Boutique Manager. This includes contingent, recurring and refurbish maintenance projects.
• Able to analyze ad-hoc retail operational issues and make quick judgment calls, which will support retail sales performance.
• Monitoring stock levels and making key decisions about stock control.
• Responding to customer complaints and comments if required.
• Touring the sales floor regularly, talking to colleagues and customers, and identifying or resolving urgent issues.
• Dealing with staffing issues that arise and resolve accordingly or escalate to right channel for resolution.
• Recommend the procurement of equipment and facilities instrumental to the performance of retail operations.
• Assist in sourcing and interviewing new recruitments and staff planning in stores. Be on the lookout for new prospective staff in competitors and other stores in malls.
• Ensure that proper security control is implemented in the retail boutiques and ensure minimal shrinkages.

Requirements

• Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
• At least 3 years working experience in retail operations
• Experience in fashion retail industry would be advantageous
• Resourceful, self-motivated, self-starter
• Possess own transport and willing to travel
