Description
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to the General Manager to join our dynamic team at Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur. In this key role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the General Manager, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and effective coordination across departments. This full-time position is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur.
What you'll be doing
- Providing full administrative and secretarial support to the General Manager
- Managing the General Manager’s calendar, appointments, and meeting schedules
- Coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items
- Handling correspondence, emails, and internal/external communications on behalf of the General Manager
- Liaising with department heads and ensuring timely communication across teams
- Preparing reports, presentations, and documents for management meetings
- Assisting in planning and coordinating events, visits, and special projects
- Maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information with discretion
- Supporting daily office operations and ensuring efficiency in administrative processes
What we're looking for
- Proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with effective communication skills in both languages
