Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law, English, Communications, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of experience editing expert witness reports, legal submissions, or technical papers
- Familiarity with court requirements for expert evidence is an advantage
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to clarity, tone, and detail
- Strong legal or academic editing background with experience reviewing expert reports, judgments, or technical documents
- Excellent judgment with high accuracy, consistency, and professionalism across outputs
- Proven ability to build rapport and provide clear, constructive feedback to diverse professional stakeholders
- Highly organized and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple reports and competing deadlines
- Collaborative team player who leads by example and fosters shared success
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refine expert witness reports for formatting, clarity, structure, and sound reasoning
- Ensure compliance with court admissibility and procedural standards
- Maintain editorial consistency aligned with the internal Style Guide
- Provide constructive and actionable feedback to strengthen argumentation and presentation
- Collaborate with experts to build strong professional relationships grounded in quality standards
- Support clients and experts with guidance on report formats and admissibility best practices
- Mentor Assistant Editors to strengthen internal editorial capability
- Contribute to thought leadership through high-quality written content, including articles and internal resources
