Description

Minimum certificate or Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction or industrial site safety.
Possess a valid Yellow Book.
Knowledge of local HSE regulations (OSHA, DOSH, FMA, etc).
Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both spoken and written).
Able to work under pressure, independently, and in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.

Responsibility

Conduct regular site safety inspections and audits.
Ensure all workers comply with safety rules, wear proper PPE, and follow safe work practices.
Carry out daily Toolbox Meetings and weekly Safety Talks.
Investigate incidents or near-misses and prepare detailed reports.
Liaise with subcontractors and ensure their safety compliance.
Keep and maintain site safety documentation, including permits, inspection records, and reports.
Assist in developing and implementing the Site Safety Plan, Risk Assessments, and Emergency Response Plan.
Coordinate with authorities such as DOSH and CIDB when required.
Promote safety awareness among workers through campaigns and visual reminders.
