Laundry Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Laundry Manager to join our team at Pullman Kuching in Kuching, Sarawak. As the Laundry Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's laundry operations, ensuring efficient and effective service to our guests. This is a full-time position within our Hospitality & Tourism organization.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the daily operations of the hotel's laundry facilities, including scheduling, staffing, and quality control
• Ensure all linens, towels, and other textile items are cleaned, pressed, and delivered to guest rooms and other areas in a timely manner
• Implement and maintain efficient laundry procedures and processes to maximise productivity and minimise costs
• Manage the inventory of laundry supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
• Train and supervise the laundry team, providing guidance and support to improve performance
• Monitor laundry-related budgets and expenses, and make recommendations to improve profitability
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery to our guests

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Laundry Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry
• Excellent knowledge of laundry operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and quality control procedures
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and other stakeholders
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet deadlines
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
