About the role

PUSAT BAHASA AKASIA' is seeking a part-time Mandarin Teacher to join our team in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality Mandarin language instruction to our students, helping them develop their skills and knowledge of the Chinese language and culture.

What you'll be doing

1. Plan and deliver engaging Mandarin language lessons to students of all ages and proficiency levels
2. Assess student progress and provide feedback to help them improve their Mandarin skills
3. Develop and maintain lesson plans, teaching materials, and resources to support student learning
4. Collaborate with the wider teaching team to ensure a consistent and effective approach to language instruction

What we're looking for

1. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken
2. Experience teaching Mandarin as a second language, preferably to students of various ages and proficiency levels
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
4. Creativity and adaptability to design and deliver engaging and effective lessons
5. A passion for language education and a commitment to helping students succeed
6. Relevant teaching certification or qualifications in language instruction or education
