Event Manager

Description

We are looking for enthusiastic leaders with a "can-do" attitude to assist our organisation in hosting events and weddings!

​Responsibilities:

• To manage and lead the events or wedding team through all aspects of our projects from conceptualisation to completion
• Servicing a portfolio of accounts
• Ideating and conceptualising events based on clients' briefs
• Liaising between internal and external parties to source, coordinate and ensure that all events goes smoothly
• Superb interpersonal skills
• Possess exceptional organisational skills, multi-tasking skills and excellent time-management skills
• To amplify brand visibility, enhancing client and employee relations and improve our organisation's growth through events that effectively communicate business strategy and brand personality
• Project administration and management of workflow
• Managing budgets and invoicing
• Managing risk and presenting post-event reports
• Must be resourceful, solutions-driven, highly detail focused and is able to contribute significant value to the team in achieving outstanding client experiences and producing quality output

Requirements:

• Full-time position
• Bachelor's Degree or Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Event Management, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing Communications, Business or any related fields
• Minimum 3 year(s) of working experience
• Strong leadership skills and crisis management qualities
• High standards of English, Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese, in both written and verbal communication
• Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Possess own transportation and must be willing to travel
• Can-do attitude
• Team player
• Pleasant personality
• Comfortable with irregular work hours, including weekends and public holidays
