Description
Job Descriptions:
1. Project scheduling
- Develop the master schedule using tools like Microsoft Project
- Break down the project into activities (WBS – Work Breakdown Structure)
- Define durations, sequences, and dependencies
2. Progress monitoring & updates
- Track actual site progress vs planned schedule
- Update schedules weekly or monthly
- Identify delays and highlight critical activities (critical path)
3. Reporting
- Prepare progress reports for management and clients
- Create S-curves, dashboards, and lookahead schedules (e.g., 2-week or 1-month plans)
- Present schedule status in meetings
4. Delay analysis & recovery planning
- Analyze causes of delays (weather, design changes, site issues)
- Propose mitigation or recovery plans to get back on track
- Support extension of time (EOT) claims if needed
5. Coordination
- Work closely with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors
- Ensure all parties follow the agreed timeline
- Align procurement, manpower, and construction activities
6. Resource planning
- Plan manpower, equipment, and materials based on schedule
- Optimize resource allocation to avoid idle time or shortages
7. Tender & baseline planning
- Prepare schedules during the tender stage (before project starts)
- Develop the baseline schedule that becomes the project reference
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma and above in Engineering (Civil).
- 1 to 5 years of working experience in related field is required.
- Ability to communicate, motivate staffs /clients / suppliers.
- Willing to travel to project sites, flexible with time and willing to render.
- Good attitude with responsibility and able to work independently.
