Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA cum Halal Executive to oversee quality assurance activities and ensure full compliance with Halal certification requirements.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, managing Halal documentation, and coordinating with internal departments and relevant authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and implement Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and Halal requirements.
• Manage Halal certification documentation, renewal, and audit preparation.
• Liaise with Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) and related authorities on Halal matters.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Maintain proper QA and Halal records and documentation.
• Investigate quality issues and recommend improvements.
• Work closely with production and operations teams to ensure product quality and compliance.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Halal Management, Quality Management, or related field.
• Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in QA/QC or Halal management (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
• Knowledge of Halal certification processes and food safety systems.
• Familiar with GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work independently.
