Description
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for conducting laboratory testing, maintaining equipment accuracy, supporting quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily QC checks according to Laboratory Management System and test methods
- Participate in Proficiency Testing (PT) programs to maintain testing competency
- Monitor product quality and promptly report abnormalities to the process department
- Support and ensure smooth dispatch operations
- Record and maintain accurate testing results for traceability purposes
- Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated and maintained
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory and dispatch areas
- Assist in plant maintenance activities during shutdown periods
- Carry out any other duties assigned by the superior
Requirement
- Minimum SPM or Diploma in a related field
- Experience in chemical, petrochemical, manufacturing, or related industries is an added advantage
- Familiar with laboratory analysis and data reporting
- Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017 Laboratory Management System is preferred
- Responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and committed to quality work
- Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
