Description
Junior Account Assistant (6-Month Contract, Extendable)
Location: Iskandar Puteri, Johor
Contract Duration: 6 months ++
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) and Payment Vouchers (PV) in accordance with company templates and requirements
- Maintain and regularly update the PO and PV tracking list accurately and on a timely basis
- Update supplier/vendor payment details in the online banking platform for approval prior to fund release
- Handle petty cash disbursements, including proper documentation and timely recording of cash inflows and outflows
- Record all expense transactions accurately in AutoCount Accounting software
- Ensure all financial documentation is processed promptly with minimal to zero errors
- Support ad-hoc accounting and finance-related tasks as required
Job Requirements
- 1–2 years of working experience in the accounting or finance field
- Hands-on experience with AutoCount Accounting software is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications (Outlook, Teams, etc.)
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to meet deadlines
- Malaysian citizen
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Education Background
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid working arrangement, with the majority of work conducted in the office
- Remote working must be communicated and arranged in advance with the team
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate
- Nusajaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
